The C.L.A.S.S. Series
Canine Life and Social Skills
Curriculum developed by Association of Professional Dog Trainers.
Aligns with AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy, Canine Good Citizen and Therapy Dog Prep.
There are 4 levels of C.L.A.S.S. your dog can earn.
- Highschool / H.S.
- Bachelors / B.A.
- Masters / M.A.
- Advanced / PhD.
Each level has specific benchmarks, homework and assessments.
Dogs and handlers will prepare for the level that is most appropriate and will receive individual coaching.
JR college
Between HS and BA
Young exuberant dogs who have taken High School in CLASS sometimes need a bridge to the BA in CLASS.
Jr. College is designed to meet the needs of young dogs whose maturity level is catching up to their skill level.
Impulse control and developing stamina with the 3 D"s (Distance, Duration, Distraction) will be our focus in Jr. College.
High School
Move beyond basic obedience
Canine Life and Socials Skills HS to BA for young dogs who have completed puppy class and have or equivalent
Owners may opt to take the offical C.L.A.S.S. evaluation, but it is not a requirment for graduation.
Bachelors
The next step after High School
For dogs who have completed High School or equivalent.
Masters
Dogs who have completed Bachelors will take skills to next level.
Canine Life and Social Skills Bachelors to Masters is for any age dog ready to move to the next level in training.
Owners may opt to take the offical C.L.A.S.S. evaluation, but it is not a requirment for graduation.
Ph.D
Add distance, duration and distraction to your dog's skills.
Dogs who have complete MA in CLASS or equivalent are eligible to enroll. Contact us if you have questions.
