Dogs who are home alone and need some activity and attention in the middle of a long day will benefit from Dog Walks Plus!

 

 

Activities may include loose-leash walking, training games, food puzzles, and of course lots of petting and belly rubs.

 

 

Visits are 30 or 60 minutes.

MANNERS MATTER | Group Class

About the program:

The road to a happy life with your dog starts with basic obedience training. (For ages 4 months and up.) Maximum of 4 dogs per class.

​

In this class we start you and your dog off with all the building blocks you'll need to have a happy, respectful and loving relationship.

  • Watch Me/Look

  • Sit

  • Down

  • Stay

  • Drop It/Trade

  • Leave It

  • Come When Called

  • Wait At Door

DRINK & TRAIN | Group Class

About the program:

Join us at a local brewery to learn all about enjoying patios with your dog. We will meet at the brewery and teach your dog to stay in their place, greetings with strangers and listening to you when there are distractions. Every class includes a drink for the human! Please brink a blanket or towel for your dog to lay on.

This class will be back in the spring!

Anchor 1

PUPPY PRIMER | Group Class

About the program:

Socialization and foundation training for your 8-14 week old puppy. (For ages 8-10 weeks.) Maximum of 4 dogs per class.

​

In a safe, friendly class setting your puppy will socialize with other puppies and people and interact with various toys, textures, sounds, and novelties.

Skills worked on:

  • Watch Me/Look

  • Sit

  • Drop It/Trade

  • Introduce Leave-it

  • Come When Called

LEARNING TO LEARN | Group Class

About the program:

For dogs who have anxiety or big feelings about new situations

(For ages All Ages.) Maximum of 2 dogs per class.

​

If your dog isn’t quite ready for a group class, Learning to Learn can help.

​

This class is limited to 2 dogs and is perfect for:

  • Dogs who are overly stimulated in a new environment

  • Dogs who have big feelings about other dogs

  • Dogs who need extra support

HIGH SCHOOL | Group Class

About the program:

Move beyond basic obedience! (For ages 4 months and up.) Maximum of 4 dogs per class.

​

Canine Life and Socials Skills level for young dogs who have completed puppy class or equivalent.


Owners may opt to take the official C.L.A.S.S. evaluation, but it is not a requirement for graduation.

About the program:

Young exuberant dogs who have taken High School in CLASS sometimes need a bridge to the BA in CLASS. (For ages 6 months to 2 years.) Maximum of 4 dogs per class.


Jr. College is designed to meet the needs of young dogs whose maturity level is catching up to their skill level.


Impulse control and developing stamina with the 3 D"s (Distance, Duration, Distraction) will be our focus in Jr. College.

BACHELORS | Group Class

About the program:

The next step after High School or Junior College. (For ages For ages 6 months and up.) Maximum of 4 dogs per class.

 

For dogs who have completed High School, Junior College or equivalent.

Skills worked on:

  • Stay

  • Wait

  • Leash Up

  • Attention

  • Meet/Greet

  • Leave

  • Give/Take

  • Settle

  • Stay

Group Class Terms & Conditions

Tuition holds a spot for a class and reserves your place in the class, precluding another client from enrolling in that spot.


Refunds cannot be issued for missed class sessions. However, if there is room in an appropriate class it may be possible, (but not guaranteed) to visit another class to make up for a missed session.


A refund of 50 percent of tuition is available for withdrawal due to health issues or emergency circumstances.

 

I understand that any use of prong, choke or electronic collars are not allowed at KK9 Dog Training.

​

Please do not bring or plan to use the following:

  • prong collar

  • choke or chain collar

  • e-collar of any kind

  • bungee leash

  • flexi-leash

​

Due to liability concerns, there MUST be an accompanying adult with all minors.

​

I give my permission for my trainer at KK9 Dog Training LLC to instruct and coach me and my dog(s) using humane and least aversive techniques for dog training.
